Red Tree Labs, LLC is a Georgia limited liability company providing AI, software engineering and systems integration consulting services. This policy explains what information we collect through redtreelabs.com, why we collect it, who processes it on our behalf, and what rights you have over it.
We keep this short on purpose. We run a small consultancy, not an advertising business, and we do not have much to disclose.
What we collect
Information you give us. If you submit the assessment request form, we collect your name, work email address, company name, your role, your company size, and the description of the problem you want to solve. Every one of those fields is required to submit the form. If you email us directly, we receive whatever you choose to put in the message.
Information collected automatically. We use a privacy-preserving analytics tool to count page views and see which pages people read. It does not use cookies and does not build a profile of you across sites or sessions. It records aggregate information such as page URL, referring site, approximate country, and device type.
What we do not collect. We do not set advertising or tracking cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, session recording, or heat mapping. We do not buy personal information about visitors, and we do not sell or share yours.
Why we use it
Form submissions are used for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and, if it leads somewhere, to carry on a business conversation with you. We do not add you to a marketing list, and we do not send newsletters or drip campaigns.
Analytics are used to understand which articles people find useful, so we write more of what works.
If you are in the UK or European Economic Area, our lawful basis for handling form submissions is legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry you initiated. Our basis for analytics is legitimate interest in understanding aggregate site usage, which is why we chose a measurement tool that does not use cookies or identify individuals.
Who processes it for us
We use a small number of third-party services. Each one processes information on our behalf under its own terms, and each has its own privacy policy.

Our bot-prevention provider may set a cookie or similar identifier as part of distinguishing humans from bots. That is the only place a cookie is likely to be set on this site, and it exists to stop spam rather than to track you.
We do not otherwise disclose your information, except where we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.
How long we keep it
We keep information only for as long as we have a reason to. Assessment requests that do not lead anywhere are deleted once they are no longer of use. Where we go on to work together, correspondence is kept for the engagement and for as long afterwards as our contractual, tax and professional record-keeping obligations require.
Analytics data is aggregate and is retained by our analytics provider under its own terms. It is not linked to you.
Client information
This policy covers the website. It does not cover information we handle in the course of consulting engagements, which is governed by the master services agreement and any data processing terms we sign with that client. Where we access a client’s systems or data, we act on that client’s instructions and under the confidentiality terms of the engagement.
Your rights
Whoever and wherever you are, you can email us and ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. We will do it. You do not need to cite a regulation to make the request and we will not ask why.
If you are in the UK or European Economic Area, you additionally have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection to processing based on legitimate interest, along with the right to complain to your national supervisory authority. If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what is collected, to request deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, so form submissions travel over an encrypted connection. We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold and keep the number of systems holding it deliberately small, because the most reliable way to protect data is not to have copies of it scattered around.
No system is perfectly secure. If we ever become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will tell you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
International transfers
We are based in the United States and our service providers are primarily US-based. If you contact us from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may not offer the same level of data protection as your home country. By submitting the form, you understand that this transfer takes place.
Children
This site is aimed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
