This past weekend I had the pleasure of participating in
HackForCF hackathon held at Georgia Tech. It was an excellent event put on by some amazing and passionate people. The turnout was great, with participants coming from very diverse backgrounds.
I have a personal friend with CF who made several suggestions for applications that could provide real benefits to CF patients, and I was fortunate enough to end up in a large team who was able to self organize and throw together an actual working product
based on one of her ideas in under 24 hours - taking 2nd place in the competition!
So, thanks to all of the folks that brought this event together, to my team and to Drew! Hopefully we can turn this 24 hour hack into a real product that can provide some real benefits!
